Our products require AA alkaline batteries to operate normally. The correct battery installation method not only ensures the stable operation of the product but also extends the battery life and avoids equipment failures. However, we have found that many customers have operational misunderstandings when installing batteries, which affects the product experience. To this end, we have specially written this article to detail the correct battery installation steps and precautions to help you quickly master the operation method.
I .Preparation Before Installation
Before starting to install the batteries, please make the following preparations to ensure a smooth and safe installation process:
Prepare suitable alkaline batteries (please use alkaline batteries exclusively; avoid using non-specified types such as carbon batteries and rechargeable batteries, as this may cause the device to fail to work normally or be damaged);
Turn off the product power (if the product has a power switch, first toggle the switch to the “Off” position to prevent short circuits during installation);
Locate the product’s battery compartment and gently open the battery compartment cover;
Check if there is any debris or dust inside the battery compartment. If so, gently wipe it clean with a dry soft cloth to avoid affecting battery contact.
II.Correct Installation Steps
Please install the batteries in strict accordance with the following steps. Core requirement: Batteries in the lower layer face the same direction, and batteries in the upper layer face the opposite direction to the lower layer. The specific operation is as follows:
First, observe the positive and negative pole marks on the battery compartment sticker (marked with “+” for positive pole and “-” for negative pole) and identify them carefully;
Install the lower layer batteries: Put the alkaline batteries into the lower layer of the battery compartment one by one, ensuring that all lower layer batteries face the same direction. Gently press the batteries to make them closely contact the battery compartment contacts;
Install the upper layer batteries: Put the alkaline batteries into the upper layer of the battery compartment one by one. Note that the direction of the positive and negative poles of all upper layer batteries must be completely opposite to that of the lower layer batteries. Also, press gently to ensure the batteries are firmly attached to the contacts without looseness;
After installation, check whether the positive and negative poles of all batteries meet the requirement of “same direction for the lower layer and opposite direction for the upper layer”. After confirmation, gently close the battery compartment cover and ensure it is tightly closed to avoid the cover falling off during use.
III.Important Precautions
It is strictly prohibited to mix batteries of different types, brands, and newness levels, as inconsistent voltage may cause battery leakage, overheating, and damage to the device;
Be sure to distinguish the positive and negative poles of the batteries during installation. If the positive and negative poles are reversed, the product will fail to start, and internal components may
